Meet The Doctors Welcome and thank you for visiting the website of the Chiropractic Wellness Centre. In this section you will find more information about our doctors. Dr. Andrew Widdicombe, D.C. Dr. Andrew Widdicombe was born in South Porcupine, Ontario, Canada. He attended McMaster University and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Visual Neuroscience in 1996. Upon the completion of his thesis, he attended the National College of Chiropractic, in Lombard, Illinois, where he received his second Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, in 1998 and his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2000. Dr. Widdicombe has extensive education and practical experience in physical rehabilitation. He has certificates in theoretical and practical laboratory diagnosis, physiotherapy, radiography and radiology. Dr. Widdicombe returned to Canada after graduation and practiced in North York, Ontario for four years before coming back home to the North. Dr. Liisa Raittinen, D.C. Dr. Liisa Raittinen was born and raised in Timmins, Ontario, Canada. She attended the University of Waterloo and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1997. She completed her post-graduate work at the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois, where she received her second Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 1999 and her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2000. Dr. Raittinen received theoretical and practical education leading to certification in Acupuncture as well as extensive education and practical experience in nutrition, supplementation, and herbal medicine. She has certificates in theoretical and practical laboratory diagnosis, physiotherapy, radiography and radiology. Dr. Raittinen returned to Canada and practiced in Orleans, Woodbridge, and Maple, Ontario for four years before coming back to her hometown in the North.
